Legitimate hair donation organizations?
I’ve been growing my hair out so that I can donate it,and the organization that I had been planning on donating to was Locks of Love. However,lately I’ve been hearing that this is a scam- that LOL only uses a small percentage of the hair they recieve to make wigs for hair loss patients,and that the rest is sold for their own profit. Is this true? =S If so,what is a legitimate organization that I can donate my hair to?
Locks of Love is legit. they do only use a small percentage of the hair because most of what they recive is damaged (hence y they require 10 inches) and unusable. they don’t sell it for profit though.
