Hair Loss Phases

Female Hair Loss and How to Handle It

It might come as a surprise to some people, but female pattern baldness is also quite common among women. Pattern baldness refers to a common appearance of hair loss for most people who suffer from it. Male pattern baldness, such as,is very characteristic because most men lose hair in a certain pattern which is the u-shaped bald spot that starts with receding hairline at the temple. Female pattern baldness seem different;the hair at the top of the temple and at the side of the head remains untouched while the bald spot starts to develop at the peak or the top of the head.

Women go through more anxiety and in general do a better job at covering up their bald spots than men do because it’s easier for them to conceal it. Since the front part of the head still retains its hairs, women who have pattern baldness typically just comb their hair a particular manner to cover up their bald spots. Studies show that women are more depressingly affected by their hair loss than men are. This is probably because of the public disgrace that comes with being bald or even for simply having less than wanted hair quality. It’s not a great revelation that hair products manufacturers splurge a lot of money continuing this standard of beauty for marketing purposes.

Men usually begin to lose their hair as young as their late adolescent years which is fairly young compared to women who usually begin losing their hair at their thirties and the hair loss decelerate when they reach menopause level around their fifties. Only 30% of the female population experience pattern baldness while unfortunately,70% of the male population will go through it. This shouldn’t be an astonish since baldness is caused by a testosterone derivative and men just have more testosterone in their body than women. Nowadays’ usual diet is also connected to early beginning of pattern baldness.

What you consume takes part a major role in how early you’ll experience pattern baldness. Since early pattern baldness is attributed to a certain type of testosterone called DHT or Dihydrotestosterone,it would be best to avoid eating food that will encourage the production of testosterone in the body. Your best bet is to eat more plant-based protein sources preferably than animal sources. You can too eat foods that are plenty in silica like oats and potato skins,or you can take supplements that have silica in them. Provillus has silica in its substance and has procedures for men and women. Provillus hair loss treatment can effectively stop the progress of dihydrotestosterone that disturbs the process of hair growth. It’s important to note that not all hair growth medications intended for men can work for women.

One more way to avoid baldness is to avoid smoking and repeling from smokers’ second hand smoke. Smoking tightens the blood vessels of your body, making it hard for the heart to pump oxygenated blood properly and deliver nutrients in other parts of your body. Smoking starts a lot of health difficulties in your body, mainly because of the introduction of adrenaline into the blood stream and the retrenchment of blood vessels, effectively stopping the healthy supply of oxygenated blood. Hair follicles prosper on oxygenated blood and will positively worsen if not nourished properly. Quitting smoking can be the greatest choice you can make to alleviate avoid hair loss.

About a week after I recovered,I noticed I was losing a lot of hair in the shower and this continuted constantly. Now is about a year, and it is still bothering me. I noticed little bald spot on the top of my scalp. I’m really worried. I did some search online. And a web site talked about illness like hight fever, flu may cause hair to go into resting phase. But the shedding usually corret itself. However,I’m not sure if this is the problem. I’m thinking about trying Scalp Med,but its really expensive and Im not sure if it will help. Anybody who knows my condition or suggestions, please let me know. Thanks you.

Yes illness can cause you to lose hair as well as the stress you go through at time of your illness sooo,go get your self some B vitamins a complex or just biotin which is a B vitamin that is very helpful for hair loss. I too was sick for a while and started seeing the same thing when i took a shower. You might also try taking a multi vit as well to help get your body back in shape. It really does work.
